In simple terms, it requires genuine people to run a football club so now it is your turn to show us your capabilities. So, get yourself together and nominate, nominate, nominate, yourself and or your friends.

NOTE - ALL roles / positions are on offer;
The President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Coach's (both Masters & Supers), communications, promotions and general assistance staff are required, and up for grabs in 2010. Ask your partner to join you in one of the roles.
- In relation to the leadership group, it will be revealed after the 2010 coach's have been appointed. Also all players will partake in this process of selecting whom they would prefer.

- How to nominate to be a Committee member: Contact Peter or Lucas for Committee roles before Presentation night.

Why Me? - HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES??? The Hallam Supers/Masters HAWKS are looking for a Vice President, someone who has the time with charm and able to assist the President run a successful club in 2009.

Also have you considered being a coach? The Masters is looking for a coach to tackle the Masters side. Hilly is the Supers coach and will dominate thought-out the week yet on game day we need someone to step up and guide and motivate the players so that we all enjoy our footy. Maybe one of the players will be selected. hands up men!

Coach - G'day all. Just thought I'd let you know I cannot walk properly. Thanks to those guys who turned up and trained in the heat last night. Great effort by all.

From next week we will be training on Wednesdays and Fridays for the next six weeks or so and will re-assess after that. Damo is in the process of organising a practice match against Woori Yallock supers so we need to be in top form for that. If the keeness and ethusiasm of the guys who have trained so far is any indication, we will have a great year. Please get in guys ears from now on to get to training and try and encourage new blood to join us!!!

Once again well done last night it will only benefit you in the long run

Frankston Sharkies are seriously considering fielding an over 47’s team in 2009. The feedback in the recent weeks from some surrounding clubs is that a competitive team can be established. We would like to place an invitation to you and any players in your club that are eligible to join. We have considered the name Casey Districts (not finalised), as the predominant teams are in this district, even if your club is not the invitation to your club still applies. We ask that in the first instance for your feedback and within the next couple of weeks you provide me with a list of player’s names, dates of birth and contact numbers so we can arrange a BBQ get together in the pre-season to formally establish this team. Scotty Palmer - Great Year Hawkwers ! You can hold your heads high !
No secret that the League gave us a tough draw.
We manged to win 7 out of 11 (Home & Away). We played the 2 Grand Finalists in Werribee & Frankston (TWICE). Back to Back (Both Away). We beat every team outside the 4 (including that memorable win against Werribee at Home). No one can say that we did not deserve to be in the finals this year, to then play Frankston at Frankston.
Have a great break and see you all bigger & better next year.

Macca/Over 47s - Like Dawesy said great effort yesterday Hawks. Bloxer and the boys have built a great club at Hallam. We're not trying to poach but every year we are all getting older and the Tigersharks are hoping to field an Over 47s side next year. If there are any Hawks with real "grey wings" thinking of giving Supers away don't be lost to footy forever. You'd be more than welcome to come along for a run with our Over 47s. Check our website for details later this year if we can get a side up and going.
