CARNIVAL PLUS 2012 - CARNIVAL NEWS
The Carnival is over and a big thanks to everyone for their efforts and the way you conducted yourself whilst in Maroochydore.
The touring party are to be congratulated for the way we formed a cohesive band of people and enjoyed each others company.
Special thanks to our overworked trainers and team managers –Keri, Tappa, Alex and Keith , Col, Walrus, Presti, Hina, Joey M & Alfie and to the others who helped them out. The coaches can not be left out, they were terrific and a big thanks as well. To all our water boys and girls - a great effort in the heat to keep we players hydrated. To the ladies and children who came along thanks very much for your support as well.
The true Victorian fighting spirit was displayed in all games and I hope our debutants will go back and wrap up the experience and persuade others to come next year.
Planning is already underway for 2012 in Townsville.
Dates are Friday October 5 to Sunday October 14
The playing dates are Sunday October 7, Wednesday October 10, non finals Friday October 12 and
finals on Saturday October 13.
We are still in the process of finalising the accommodation, more when available.
All coaching positions are now open and applications close mid March.

Interviews will be conducted and appointments will be announced in April, hopefully before the season starts.
SEASON 2012
Only in the planning stages at present but things will stay very similar as 2011.
Premier Division, North and South Zones
We have a newly merged Club (Eastern & Knox) and we are in the process assessing the viability of Clubs that have applied to join our League.
Plans are to begin the season in early to mid April then playing fortnightly culminating in the Grand Finals on Sunday 9th September.
