Austrailia - 2/8/2010 - Over the past several years, we have maintained a close watch on the actions of the Australian Government with particular focus on its stance towards internet censorship.

Australia's laws on internet censorship are already among the most restrictive in the western world. Their government filters more internet content than any other Parliamentary Democracy. For some elements within the Government, including Telecommunications Minister Senator Stephen Conroy, this still is not enough. Late in January of 2009 he proposed legislature that would lead to mandatory ISP filtering for all of Australia. The stated goal is to prevent Australia from viewing "illegal and unwanted content" on the internet.

Anonymous' concern with this legislature is twofold.

First, the ambiguity of the term "unwanted content" is completely unacceptable. No government should have the right to refuse its citizens access to information solely because they perceive it to be "unwanted." Indeed, the only possible interpretation of "unwanted content" is content that the government itself does not want to be seen.

More importantly, Anonymous does not approve of the steps already undertaken by the Australian Government to cont

Ando - Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around since my injury in rd 5. I have been trying my hardest to get back down to the ground but with work getting in the way its very hard. Clarkey - Well the season is nearly over with one game remaining. There will be NO training this Wednesday 5th August - after what has turned out to be a disappointing season we cant forget Mad Monday or Presentation Night - hopefully a few more show interest in these 2 events:

Huddo - Just something i would like to say about our social events. I would love to attend them and i probobly say this for all arvo shift workers at the club, why dont we have them on saturday nights, and/or sunday fuctions. Such as maybe a golf day where we match up groups by their handicaps or scores and play ambrose where 3 to 4 people hit off and each player plays from where the best ball was hit, by picking it up and droping it and all hitting from the same spot. Also have a mobile bar with a designated barman driving the coarse in a golf buggy with an esky or two. NOW THAT WOULD BE A FUN DAY. P.S Carn't wait till next Sunday guys see you then. GO DEVILS.

huddo replied: I think coarse is wrong!!! Im probobly the only ARVO shift worker anyway and not everyone wants to go but that doesn't matter its just my opinion anyway Saturday nights would be cool. And i think opinion is wrong too. (LOL).

I suggest 2 teams of 2 at a time because you are only allowed 4 at a time to tee off at most golfcorses. I dont have to say that the more numbers to this the best fun would be had (via our photos section. lol) So JAMIE what do you think im not good at organizing things but i do know it can be done. And last of all to everyone,;;; no saying im #@*%! i carnt play and ive not got no clubs we will just hire them early if you dont have none so you got some on the day for maybe $20 extra

Also - our first home game is this Sunday 3rd May. It will also be Family Fun Day so bring the family down for a sausage sizzle and salads which will take place after the Supers game - there will be some entertainment for the kids as well....we will also hold a couple of raffles - tickets will be selling throughout the Masters and Supers games...

Clarkey - A big thankyou to the guys that made the effort to play in the practice match against Glenorden yesterday . It was a well contested game with some great positive signs.
The next practice match will be an Intra Club at home on the 19th of April (game start time to be confirmed)
Everyone needs to make themselves available for our last hitout before the proper season starts.
A bbq Family day is being planned (details to come)
